1st please let me say the service at the Lab at this location is excellent! The technicians are prompt and courteous. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the front desk staff who on two separate occasions have not been willing to open the side door to give me access to the Lab after I’ve kindly asked for assistance. They did tell me that someone would open the door, but on both instances I had been left to just stand there until a patient leaves and I can access the door that way. I think doctor do a tough job in today's healthcare environment. About 6 years ago my PCP retired. I ended up being placed with a young lady for my new PCP. Dr. Hannah Stoops, has turned out to be a spectacular doctor. I've had female doctors before but not as a primary care doctor. This was a first for me. Obviously I was a little apprehensive when I started seeing her. Turns out she has been pivotal in changing the trajectory of my life in such a positive way. Physician and staff are amazing. But don’t ever attempt to call them back. Wouldn’t mind the waiting time if they just played elevator music. But instead you are subjected to commercials and a repetitive message about MyChart EVERY TEN SECONDS! It’s like Chinese water torture. After just two minutes I couldn’t take it anymore and had a splitting headache. I defy corporate leadership to try it themselves. How about considering the patient’s perspective for once.
I was referred to Doctor Mills for multiple hernia repair 4 years ago. He was insulting and disrespectful, and after my CT scan, I never heard back from him. My primary care doctor seems happy with this. He has not mentioned it in 3 years .
