The absolute worst billing agency I’ve ever had to deal with. Southcoast has fraudulent billing practices but has nearly monopolized our area so there is not much choice to avoid them. Over 30 days into trying to correct fraudulently being billed. Cannot get calls back and can hardly get through to them. Terrible. Even my insurance is struggling to connect with them to correct this
South Coast health billing office is absolutely dreadful to deal with. They will call you and email you constantly if you owe even a small amount of money but if they have overcharged you getting a refund from them is like getting blood from a stone. It’s really a shame because a lot of of my doctors are with South Coast and they’re excellent practitioners. However, their business office needs a complete overhaul.
Southcoast health decided I wanted paperless billing. I never had any say in the issue. They just decided what was best for me. I didn't, and still don't have any interest in paperless billing. When I do my taxes, I have to go through 12 months of credit card statements to find medical deductions, which essentially ads hours to tax prep. My last bill which I received on 12/16/25 I paid by mail, using the my chart notice, and mailed it and a check to thier Boston address. If you are looking to pay a bill in person forget it. Even though it says billing center they do not accept payments
