I had a really good experience at South Bay Auto Center! I head to this area about twice a month and on my drive, my car system suddenly notified me that my tire pressure was low; in particular, one tire even showed up as 0 PSI. As I read these negative comment I would like to say that some of us have unrealistic expectations of our vehicles and a repair shop ability to correct issues. I moved to this neighborhood in 2013 and I've worked with them since. I have aways been met with honest conversation about my five vehicles and I've never been asked to repair something that did not require it. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this situation needs to be addressed. I took my vehicle to this shop expecting professionalism and basic respect, but what I experienced was completely out of line. The staff not only handled my concerns poorly, but crossed a major line with behavior that was flat-out disrespectful — not just to me as a customer, but to any person with dignity. I’m writing this review with a heavy heart. I referred a close friend and her son—who struggles with mental health—to this shop, trusting they would be treated with decency and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was far from the case. Not only was the service subpar, but the way her son was treated was downright disrespectful and inappropriate. A friend took her car there for electric work . The car came out worse than it went in. Wires all over the dash board... they wanted to charge double than the original price quote..1 start because we can't put zero....save your money look some place else.....
