In 2019, I was her patient and underwent a hysterectomy with her. Her behavior was generally good, but unfortunately, after the surgery, she did not properly tie one of the blood vessels inside my abdomen, which caused a clot to form. I’m feeling very let down with all the doctors I’ve seen, including Southbank. After desperately trying to get answers, I finally got a referral here. All I got was a pamphlet and a pain relief medication to take when needed (which in my case would be constantly). Walking downstairs to the pharmacy to get this medication, they warned me not to take it too often, which means it would not be appropriate for my needs at all. I am an older lady and was very nervous about seeing a gynaecologist. However there was no need to be. The staff at the surgery are wonderful. Dr Aseel is delightful and so gentle. She explains everything in detail and takes her time. I have no hesitation in recommending her.
Outstanding and thorough care by Dr Aseel. After seeing 2 other specialists in the past, this was the first time someone was properly able to diagnose my medical issue. She explained it so clearly and gave different treatment options. Dr Aseel has a friendly bedside manner and you can tell she genuinely cares about her patients.
Dr Aseel Alkiaat is a wonderful caring and compassionate Doctor, she explains things thoroughly and listens. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking Gynaecological care.
