Southarm massage is one of the best massage therapist clinics i have been too… they communicate so well, their massages are amazing and relaxing. I have been to multiple clinics and this is far my favourite; my husband and I have been going here for the last 2 years and have many family and friends who also attend to this clinic.
I had a very bad experience with a new RMT named Elina (Xiaolian Ai). Her massage skills were extremely poor, and she seemed very negative and unprofessional during the session. What’s worse, she privately asked me for extra money for inappropriate “extra services,” which I immediately refused. This was completely unacceptable and made me feel very uncomfortable. Please avoid booking with this person — she is dishonest and lacks professional ethics.
I was glad to find a same-day opening after a 5-hour flight from Toronto and booked to address calf cramps and back tightness. Booking was easy, and my session with Elina was fine overall, though not particularly stellar. The main issue came afterward with direct billing. I have primary coverage with Sun Life and secondary with Canada Life(under my wife), which I’ve used here before without problems just last month.
