Good vet services We have used the Southampton Vet Hosp for a few years now. The staff is very helpful when you have any questions about your pet and Dr. Meihofer is very professional and honest in helping with your pets needs.
Mario We had to make the painful decision to put our cat, Mario, down today. Dr. Miehoffer and his staff were kind, professional and very sympathetic. They took time with us and did not rush us while we euthanized our cat and stayed with him until he was gone. They made a very difficult situation much easier on our family. I highly recommend them.
Travelling with a dog has complications especially when your dog gets sick. I found myself in this situation in Port Elgin. My dog seemed to have swallowed a long piece of rope. I knew he needed to throw it up before it got caught in his intestines. Both vet clinics in Port Elgin were too busy to see him. Thankfully, I found Southampton Pet Hospital. That isn’t how you treat clients or a dog! They’re sentient beings and have feelings and pick up on the energy we put out- clearly. I asked for the primary doc to give me a call. The p... read more
Great Vet office. Staff is very helpful and Dr Meinoffer is very knowledgeable and he truly cares about our fur babies.
The staff and doctors are very professional and caring. I know my furbabies are in good hands!
Lovely staff and great w my animals - Dr Meinhofer is knowledgeable, experienced, patient, professional and friendly. He has handled every office visit w a calm demeanor which has helped my geriatric, shy, sometimes feral, mixed bunch of wonderful furkids relax in the office and handle the visit with less stress.
Very nice and experienced staff
Everyone is wonderful! Caring and always willing to listen no matter how crazy I get. Also not over the top in recommending aggressive treatments if they really don't think that it will make a difference in the long run.
