I was advised by my GP to go into the Emergency department to follow up with the Dermatologist, I then signed in and I was promised by multiple times by multiple staff “yes we have a Dermatologist on site today to help … you then made me wait 6 and a half hours to then say , they have finished for the day , as a result this have made my condition wort and I am still expecting a call from a Dermatologist consultant?

This hospital despite recent challenges within the NHS always delivers first class service. Parking however can be a bit of a lottery.

Unfortunately, due to medical emergency, I had to visit Southampton General Hospital while on holiday (with luggage and a minor child). I cannot thank enough everyone that dealt with me. Starting from friendly A&E reception staff, caring Nurse Jo and calming, professional Dr Matt, everyone was great, treated me with respect and human touch. Thank you

Hospitals are a terrifying place to be however Southampton Hospital have given my wife a completely clean bill of health this year after several health concerns. All of the staff that my wife and I came into contact with were the utmost professional and we could really tell that they knew their stuff. Hospital always seems super clean and tidy too. Staff are attentive and have excellent bedside manner. Reception / welcome desk staff are super knowledgeable and really happy to help you out.
