Unfortunately we really wouldn’t recommend dealing with this garage. We made a viewing appointment on Monday morning to see a Peugeot they had in stock, on the phone I asked if they would also be able to confirm the part exchange quote they’d offered and they said yes of course they could. A car dealer based in Bath has been fined £10,000 following an investigation sparked by two complaints to Bath & North East Somerset Council's Trading Standards team. South & West Motors Ltd, based on London Road East in Batheaston, Bath, pleaded guilty to breaching the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 by failing to meet professional diligence standards. i bought a car from these guys. Excellent service. Very friendly staff. I Had an issue with the Adblue light, which they sorted straight away. I would definitely recommend South and West motors. (Plus they do a very good car wash service)
Car purchased didn't even make it home and the gear box went, I had to pay for the transport to get car back to dealership though the gear box failed, I hadn't owned the car for two hours even, after seeking advice I was told that this should have been covered by the garage, they are not not responding to any of my communications so I have now instructed the motor Ombudsman and contacted the AA approved scheme...avoid buying from here....
