Get my annual mammogram done here every year and they are quick and thorough.
If you’re in San Antonio, I recommend avoiding STRIC for imaging. Their customer service was incredibly disappointing. It’s the facility’s responsibility to obtain authorization, yet my scan was rescheduled three separate times because of “pending auth.” When I called to check on the status, I was told multiple times that clinicals had been faxed to my insurance, but the insurance company wasn’t receiving them. I needed an MRI of my left knee. I called 3 days prior to the verification dept. I called my ins and verified that no authorization was needed, I again called the authorization dep and they still had not verified my ins (the day before). Then at nearly 7pm (the day before) she finally called me back and said "you are correct Ms F....no authorization is required. OK, what will I owe? Meagan (ultrasound tech) was very professional and explain everything in detail to me. She made me feel so much at ease because I was nervous to begin with when I got there! Very friendly and provided me with my report to give to my PCP and for my personal use.
