I am blown away by the fact this organization donates over 60,000 books to our community annually! These donations, as well as the programs offered are making a visible impact throughout South Texas. Developing an early love for reading has positively influenced my educational path and I'm so glad STLC is working to improve literacy rates. This is an outstanding organization that is necessary to the RGV community. I loved meeting the kind and very organized individuals that run the program. They offer internships for high school and college age students looking for leadership and employment schools. Their community involvement is endless! There are programs for financial literacy training for many age groups and free book distributions across the Valley for kids in need. How can I help?
