Don't go here I drove a hour to donate blood . My diastolic number was 49 cut off is 50 they told me come back tomorrow. I'll never donate to south texas blood ever again. Wasted 2 hrs out of my day on super bowl Sunday cause.. y'all NEEDED blood. Y'all called ME!!
I have been coming to this branch ever since it opened. Is nice having one so close so I donate. Everyone at this location is extremely friendly and inviting.
I feel completely humiliated by this place. I have been a blood donor for over 10 years, and I have never encountered any service that would deny me the opportunity to donate. I came yesterday, and two people came after me; they donated without any issues. However, I was told I could not because my pulse was too high. Today, after 24 hours, I am back again & I was told I could not do it because it has not been 24 hours.
