I went to South Shores to help overcome my alcohol addiction, it was my first time going to a treatment center. The houses were clean, cozy and safe and all the staff were great in helping with my recovery. I just celebrated my 90days of being sober. I am so thankful for South Shores helping me find new better ways to cope with my stress and anxiety as well as introducing me to AA by taking me to nightly meetings, this is a habit I have continued since I left South Shores. I am beyond grateful.
Made me feel like family. Amazing staff that I grew close too and would definitely recommend for anyone iffy about rehab and nervous. Very good people. Also ruby always around to cheer you up.
When I got to South Shores I was at my rock bottom, I was completely miserable and broken. The staff there helped me build myself back up and become functional again. I’ve been to treatment all over the state, South Shores was my 34th rehab stay and I was generally regarded as hopeless, by, well, everyone, and with good reason. South Shores helped facilitate my growth from a broken person to someone who was teachable, someone who was employable, someone who can help others, and someone who is happy now. When I went to recovery last October I was scared to death. I had no idea what to expect and was in terrible shape. Over the days I felt like I was exactly where I needed to be. The staff was amazing and made me feel so at home. I had the best experience I could possibly have had. I took away so many valuable experiences, and crazy to say...I miss being there some times.
