I recently had day surgery at South Shore Regional Hospital. The treatment team and the various hospital support staff were exemplary. Well organized, caring, thorough and friendly are a few of the characteristics that come to mind. I’m glad I made the trek from Kentville across winter roads to be looked after by staff at South Shore Regional Hospital.
Horrible service from uncarring so called people. almost 45 minutes from when i rang tge bell until the triage department came out, then didnt seem like thwy even cared or listening very well. After registering, almost 2 hours go by and no one was called in to see a doctor, no one came to check on anybody at all. Major waste of tax dollars.
Sent me home after being checked out ( ultrasound etc ) being told I was dehydrated, turns out I had bi lateral pneumonia and another virus. Ended up in a 2 week coma after almost needing to go on ECMO.
