I just picked up my new trailer for my new boat from this company and my experience was amazing. They were very upfront and helped me find the perfect trailer for my boat. I purchased a used boat from South Shore Marine Group and had a great experience from start to finish. Kim made the entire process smooth, easy, and stress-free. The boat also came with one of their new trailers, which has been equally as impressive. I highly recommend South Shore Marine Group for anything boating-related. Great people, great service, and true professionals!
Kim still has not contacted me nor has sent my paperwork regarding the skiff that needed corrected bill of sale regarding my ability to successfully register my trailer in North Carolina. I strongly recommend do not do business with this company. There are definitely some successful buyers here with positive reviews, however there are other boat dealerships out there with better inventory and better prices that have no negative reviews. CRITICAL UPDATE: After confirming my corrected bill of sale was ready, Kim messaged me stating she will not send it unless I delete this review. Withholding legal ownership documents for a $29,500 purchase as collateral is illegal extortion. Because of her delays, I am now risking double sales tax by missing Florida’s 30-day out-of-state registration deadline. 1 star — Boat delivered, but critical ownership paperwork was taken before it was properly completed I purchased a boat, motor, and trailer from South Shore Marine Group for $29,500. The boat and trailer were delivered to my home in North Carolina, but what should have been an exciting purchase quickly became an extremely stressful situation because of the original title and registration paperwork.
