Tom and his team from South Sea Carpentry recently completed a knock down rebuild of our old deck. The job was extensive, as it covered decks to all sides of our home and included the complete replacement of the existing framework and the removal and insertion of a new spa within the deck. I hired Tom Dillon, of South Sea Carpentry, to add a new composite deck and replace a retaining wall in my backyard. I had just purchased the duplex and it had a 25 year old retaining wall and plain grass. I wanted a deck to cover about one third of the grass area and to have some features like a bench seat and built in planter boxes. Start to finish Tom did the most amazing job for me. South Sea Carpentry has recently renovated our beach house. The project included but was not limited to floors, windows, doors, entry way, plastering, stairs and front and back deck. Our main objective was to increase space and natural light into the house and we are extremely happy with the results. Tom and his crew were efficient and receptive to our goals for each room.
