The panhandling at Fiddlin Fest was very annoying. Don't waste booth space that could have gone to a vendor advertising a different festival and clogging the walkway with your overly aggressive sales folks.
This place needs to be renovated.. Remodeled and painted. Roaches in the kitchen, only one toilet in the ladies restroom work. The light in the mens restroom was blown. Chairs filthy, hole in the wall, and the back door was damaged with no lock.. The price to rent this center was cheap.. I guess we got what we paid for.. it sucks to throw an event where food is involved, cant leave it unattended.. Oh well..
The South Rome Community Association has active community members that gather on the 1st Monday of every month to plan how to make South Rome a stronger community. I attended on February 13th and it was great meeting others who care to see South Rome thrive again.
