My husband received the worst haircut and service here. The woman who cut his hair completely disregarded his requests, and she didn't ask any clarifying questions. His hair is uneven throughout. It makes me wonder if they are even licensed. This is such a disappointment and the soldiers of Fort Johnson deserve better.
For reference, I’ve been in the Army for over 20 years and I’ve been stationed at fort johnson twice. The south fort barbershop should have zero stars. The staff at the south fort barbershop is horrible at cutting hair. There are 2 women there that can cut hair and that is it. I’ve tried multiple times and I’ve always been disappointed. As a new arrival to this base, I needed a haircut and chose this salon for convenience. I requested a high skin fade, a style I’ve had done many times without issue. The stylist, wearing a face mask, spoke softly with an accent, making it difficult to understand her. She mumbled something about a ‘fade,’ and I confirmed, assuming she understood my request. Asked for a medium fade and the lady gave me the worst high and tight. I don't know how you mess up a hair cut I didn't even ask for. If you can't cut hair just say so so I can ask for someone else next time
