I am so grateful for the care my mom receives at this Alzheimer's Dementia facility. The staff are always kind, patient, and treat her with so much respect. They make her feel safe and comfortable every day. The building is always very clean and welcoming, which gives me peace of mind. My mom is always smiling when I visit, and I know she is in good hands. The team goes above and beyond to help her and keep her happy. Met staff after deciding it was time to place my mother in a facility. Staff was more concerned about finding my moms "houses" even though she does not own any. Staff also wanted to go through my personal financial records to verify her income. Said it was a DHS requirement even though my mother was already on DHS and DHS themselves stated there was no need for verification or to reapply. My aunt needed a home. She wondered taken rides from anyone. So the tough Decision was to put her into a care facility. Now is this one in the best of areas NO, does it smell inside NO and I visit at least 3x a week. Are the patients cared for Yes, yes, yes. T
My mother in law recently passed away while living in this facility. If I could go back in time and not have chosen this one,I would. The staff is 50/50. Some seem to genuinely care,others you can tell are just doing a job and don't want to be there. My husband and I bought a brand new TV for my mother in law. My brother took it over during covid so he wasn't allowed inside, he had to just drop it off. It never made it to her room. Clearly whoever he gave it to took it.
