We booked 2 nights with one carrier and decided to stay a extra night so i rang direct and was able to add another night before we arrived. On arrival it was so hard to park and wasn't sure where to go to check in. After driving around finally finding a paid parking spot. My partner checked in ,I waited in car. When reserving our stay we were advised about renovations noises starting at 8am to 4pm which initially was not a problem since we won't be at the accommodation during those times. Unfortunately, information provided was not accurate as every day at between 6:00 and 6;30am we were disturbed by the constructions. They only provided 1 1/2 roll of toilet paper for the 5 nights we stayed. Upon request, we were require to pay extra for them. Location and other amenities were good.
We stayed on level 14 and experienced a terrible smell in the main room at night, something like urine that hadn't been clean for days. Room change was not an option but they offered to clean the carpets which didn't fix anything because the smell actually came from the bathroom. They didn't offer help or solutions. We were also alocated a small parking space with big external pipes along the wall and the ceiling, which made it difficult to get out of the car, and opening the boot properly. We booked through a third party company online and upon arrival found out that there is huge construction work happening next door. Excavators, Jack hammers and large machinery etc. This was not mentioned on the three websites we perused for price comparisons. The room booked was unavailable so the staff requested we stay one night on one floor and another night in another room on a different floor.
