Dr. Makar is great. This would be 5 stars, though I’ve never experienced a doctors office refusing to fax a prescription to the pharmacy… was told I had to come in to get the physical copy. Unfortunately this is quite inconvenient.
I think they do not like their patients and have an office culture of being “annoyed” at us
Refused to take as patient because “ had appointment missed 3 years before (I didn’t make as was out of city lol ontop was under 18 and anything was fully covered and direct billed to Childrens aid society) but saying I was charged for not showing and didn’t pay lol never had any contact with them before this year and got a disrespectful phone call telling me wasn’t accepted without even giving a chance to speak.
The office puts money over health, numbers over people. Horrible place with long wait times and no consideration for patient needs.
My family has been coming to this clinic for approximately 15 years, and every experience we've had has been positive. The receptionists are always very helpful, patient and accommodating, contrary to the many reviews I've read. Our family Doc retired and was replaced by Dr. Alex Lei. Where do I begin... he is an amazing doctor. He's young, recently graduated, but don't let his age fool you. He is very educated, well informed, caring and he goes above and beyond for his patients. We are very lucky to have him as our doctor.
