Brenda Field was a nightmare to deal with. She was encouraging someone with terminal Cancer -- that had spread to his brain -- with days left to live, to change his Will of 20 years. She was calling his relatives! A guy that only had days and weeks left to live! She was also telling my representative details that were speculative, extremely unethical and disgusting. I think Brenda Field should be facing charges of criminal conflict of interest at the minimum. Field is very lucky to still have her job.
Waited for 8 hrs to see a doctor and got nothing, do not come here if you need to be treated for something
Waits as usual in any bc hospital...glad that SOGH is still sailing in sinking canadian healthcare system
I've been to the lab & x-ray unit here many times and for emergency reasons once. The lab and x-ray services are excellent and expeditious, especially when you've booked an appointment online in advance. Doctors are now available overnight in Emergency. HUGE improvement! YAY! My best friend, who became a quadriplegic in early September 2024, arrived at SOGH in January 2025 and spent 2 months there waiting for placement in long-term care.
