This place is a money grab. I've been searching for a family doctor for a few years and gave this place a try. The RN I've worked with is lovely but this office forces everyone to book appointments for the littlest things like prescription refills just so they can bill OHIP. Booking an appointment is only available at least 2 months in advance so that doesn't work for refills. I don't always need an appointment, especially to take one from someone else who needs it. They prefer to take my $20 to get my prescription refilled.... read more
This clinic has provided me with singularly the worst medical experiences I have ever had. How this place continues to be open is astonishing. So what wrong with this place? Let me tell you. 1. They cancel appointments frequently citing emergencies, then it takes two months to rebook. 2. I have never actually met the doctor. I have been a patient for 3 years. Never met the man. 3. Can't see you for 2 months, but if you pay them $20 cash they'll refill your prescription without an appointment. Doesn't seem right to me.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share how terrible my experience has been with South Niagara FHO. I’ve been a patient here for almost a year, and it’s been nothing but frustrating. They’ve changed my Nurse Practitioner three times without ever informing me. I only found out when I showed up for appointments—only to be met with confusion or last-minute changes.
