While they are quick to come out there are not very professional. They send unrequested quotes that seem absorbently high than when you ask for a breakdown they tell you they don't tell the customer the details of the quote and the price is the price. This seems very not honest. Add the fact that there prices are crazy high compared to bigger more reputable companies and I don't understand there business model. I cannot recommend South Mountain enough. They worked very hard to get our heat fixed. They even came to inspect it while we weren't home because we were on vacation. Other companies would not do that. They have great communication. They know who you are as soon as you give them your name. They know what your issue is and what still needs to be done. The technician performed a preventive maintenance servicing on our boiler. As always the technician arrived at the scheduled time, was courteous, explained everything that was being done, and left no mess behind. We have used South Mountain Mechanical for nearly 20 years and have never had a bad experience with them.
