I strongly recommend South Mountain Mechanical. We have a geothermal heat pump (Bryant) and had a very hard time finding someone to service it (refrigerant leak). One company was going to charge us a flat fee of $4K for the job, and jerked me around for a month. I called South Mountain and they sent a great technician out within a few days - charged an hourly rate, found and sealed the leak, for a very reasonable charge. Couldn't be more pleased.

While they are quick to come out there are not very professional. They send unrequested quotes that seem absorbently high than when you ask for a breakdown they tell you they don't tell the customer the details of the quote and the price is the price. This seems very not honest. Add the fact that there prices are crazy high compared to bigger more reputable companies and I don't understand there business model. I cannot recommend South Mountain enough. They worked very hard to get our heat fixed. They even came to inspect it while we weren't home because we were on vacation. Other companies would not do that. They have great communication. They know who you are as soon as you give them your name. They know what your issue is and what still needs to be done.
