The owner and staff are super nice and helpful here. Lots of Aloha. Plenty of parking. Weight machine and cardio area is clean, well-spaced, and the machines are well maintained. The vibe is all about exercising and working out hard but in a very calm, relaxed environment. It is also a great value. This place is wonderful, and feels like gym-home every time we come to visit - they even remember our names from year to year! Awesome teeshirts, too. Super cool spot.

Avoid this gym — overpriced, limited, and unfriendly This gym is significantly overpriced for what it offers. The equipment selection is very limited, and the overall setup feels cramped and basic. For about half the price, you can join Powerhouse down the street and get far more equipment, better variety, and a much more reasonable experience. South Maui Fitness is hands down a 5-star experience! The gym is spotless, with everything kept incredibly clean and well-maintained. The atmosphere is welcoming and energizing—perfect whether you’re trying to stay consistent or just get a quick workout in while on vacation. The staff really make this place stand out. Great gym for a vacationer. Very helpful staff with great options for temporary memberships. Highly recommended.
