BEWARE! I was a patient here for about a decade starting in my mid 20s. Dr. Scharer is lovely and was my doctor for the latter part of my time as a patient. Dr. Eberhardt was my doctor for the first few years and unfortunately I have nothing good to say about my experience. I feel I must warm others to avoid the same experience I had. Kind staff, but poor communication. I came in as a new patient and needed bloodwork done to recheck levels based on concerns I had a few months prior. That was it. My appointment was rescheduled the day of my appointment, and never re-confirmed the week of the new appointment (I got a confirmation call two days before e first scheduled appointment). a million stars would not be enough. I have been fortunate enough to be able call Dr Scharer my Primary Doctor for over 20 years. Not always easy for Him and his team as I have had some serious health issues over the years. They have always treated me with kindness respect compassion and truly caring. Our family loves South Lyon Family Docs. My three sons have seen Dr. Scharer for years. Every visit, he takes his time and does a very thorough examination, no matter what the reason for the visit. He is also very personable, chats with us, and remembers a lot of details about each of my son’s histories. He is awesome, and I highly recommend him. I see Dr. Eberhardt and have always been pleased with her care as well. The staff that work there are great too. Thank you SL Family Docs!
