Anywhere but here Avoid this place at all costs. I've been consistently disappointed by the service I've received. You name it, they've screwed it up. I'll list some of my grievances: 1. Failed to seal a transmission gasket....woke up to fluid spilled all over my driveway. Had to be fixed again. 2. Quoted me a price of 1100 to fix shocks. Took it for a second opinion and was told the shocks were fine...ended up saving 700 dollars. 3. Friendly Service The Reston Mobil offers fast and friendly service to their customers. The parking lot offers ample space to run in and grab a drink and there is always room at the pumps.
Beware Inspections Here I took our 1994 Honda in a few weeks ago for an inspection and they failed it due to: "hood release cable issue" (we don't have a problem closing the hood and it was closed when I got there) and a "torn left front boot". I was a little suspect about this, and when I saw another "Failed" receipt at the checkout, I thought maybe the inspectors here are either inexperienced or trying to drum up business. RecommendedI will definitely return to South Lakes Sunoco for my future car services/needs, as I have been for my annual state/emission inspections. During the recent alternator replacement on my Acura there, South Lakes Sunoco demonstrated it's reasonable price, fast turnaround service - a day earlier than promised, and the high professionalism of the staff. Appt met on time and done quickly
A bunch of thieves.... but we are to blame because we have been giving them business for 10 years and always came back to them after we had issues with then. This time, we bought the two tires, brake pads/rotors, and bulbs ourselves and we still paid $425 because they charged us over $160 per hour in labor. Absolutely ridiculous! Had a great experience at this Sunoco was recommended to me by a friend for state inspection service. The staff was well organized and friendly and there was no long line of waiting. I highly recommend this place if it is your inspection month!
Brandon, the manager, and his staff are great. They also offer shuttle service within five miles, so I didn't have to wait around for my car. Highly recommend!
