After being on site for an hour and fifteen minutes, I left without ever seeing the doctor.
I had a bad experience at South Hills ENT. Dr. Scolieri repeated cut me when I was trying to explain my symptoms. I had two appointments with him and the total amount of time I spent with him was less than 5 minutes. He recommended physical therapy and told me his staff would tell me where to go. The staff member told me go anywhere. After spending $490 on PT because of my high deductible plan I went back to Dr. Scolieri and then he informed me I was supposed to see a physical therapist who specializes in my issue. I had an amazing experience with the doctor—he has been incredibly helpful, took the time to listen to all my concerns, and went above and beyond to ensure there were no underlying issues beyond what we could see. His care and dedication are truly appreciated. However, the office management has been a challenge. I’ve been trying to get in touch for over a week with no response to calls or messages. I can only speak of my experiences with Dr. Elford, as well as that of my wife. We both found him arrogant and aloof. He spent more time talking to his voice recorder than to me. Dr. Demarino may be better. I hope so any way.
Really awful dude. I came here a long time ago to get checked after getting a nasal polyp removed. He abruptly cut me off multiple times while I tried to explain my symptoms and what happened when the polyp dislodged. He then poured numbing solution down my nose without telling me that it was NUMBING. I didn’t realize that my entire face was numb until I left the building, and was absolutely panicking because I didn’t know that what he put down my nose was supposed to do that.
