Traveling through on our way from Texas, my GSP wouldn't eat for the past two days. They fit us in on short notice, asked me our home vet and by the time we arrived the vet has already reviewed the medical records. She gave him a thorough exam and determined that nothing major was going on. Said probably an upset stomach/mild food poisoning, gave us some anti-nausea meds and said she was confident he'd start eating soon. Two days later he started eating a bit and by the next day he was 100%. Great care, not expensive either.
I'm so glad I brought my girl (dog) there, Dr Duff is wonderful, she took the time to cover all the bases and explained everything in great detail, and the office staff was superb, considering I am a traveler and they may not see me again, they still treated me like family. She even changed the meds I had been given by the Alamosa vet to one better tolerated by my Lab. (I later researched it) Sha was so caring and knowledgeable. ALL veterinarians should be this way.
Dr. Jodi is doing better for the community everyday just by being here. Thank you for being the best!
