Although polite, I found the experience to be slightly unwelcoming. I needed assistance in tuning a telescope, and after emailing the club and being told that someone would be available to help, I had quite the opposite experience. They do, indeed have a laser to assist in the adjustments of mirrors, but the information that was given to me in how to use it to properly align my telescope was incomplete.
