I cannot say enough good things about Brennan and the crew at Southend. We came about them by chance one day first with a van I had that was having AC issues, he squeezed my wife in over lunch break to diagnose. Then they came out and diagnosed something else on that van at my house. This last time he was able to squeeze us in to check for coolant leak on a new to us vehicle. These guys are awesome. My alternator went out in my car. I was able to get the part and bring it to them. They had it fixed within an hour and a half. Next thing you know, I was back on the road. I’m not even from Lafayette,Louisiana. I was just traveling for work, but it’s always good to know where a good Mechanic is and these guys are definitely it.
I cannot praise these guys enough. I bought a used kia soul on Tuesday. On Wednesday the belt started slipping so I bought a new belt and attempted to change it myself. In the process I managed to get my wrench stuck on the tensioner and no luck getting it off. I had it towed to south- end on Thursday afternoon. They got the belt done but informed me the car had a MAJOR oil leak amd a coolant leak. Had I completed the belt I may not have caught this and would probably have a locked up motor. Great service and reliable. I will definitely go back. They kept me updated on what needed to be done and were flexible to work around my schedule. I highly recommend this local mechanic.
Had a radiator leak and this shop was willing to replace it the same day within a few hours fair priced and quick work will be back in the future. Also brought my toyota camery in about 2 yrs ago and they helped with that also very quick repair and work was a+
