To put it bluntly, I have never met such an awful doctor. Absolutely no compassion or understanding for his patients. I was initially told by him that I shouldn’t have a colonoscopy done (even though I was showing him test results showing something was very very wrong) but because I didn’t have symptoms he thought it wasn’t important. Turns out I have 2 massive potentially cancerous polyps and 1 small one. Had a colonoscopy here. The whole process was good. Didn't wait long for initial appointment and had procedure soon after. Everything went as scheduled on the day.
I had a great experience from start to end at South Coast Digestive Diseases Centre. All staff (reception, nurses, Drs) were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you to everyone who assisted me. Highly recommend.
Definitely one of the worst experiences in our very flawed medical system I've ever had. The reception and Doctor Chakravarty were extremely rude. The offices were incredibly cramped and a massive covid hazard. The walls were covered in pamphlets about dying from bowel disease and no care had been put into the patient experience or what it is like starting out with a diagnosis.
