I was a patient at the detox recently and this is the absolute last place you would want to send your loved one to get help. The staff not only lack compassion and respect for the patients, but there was a nurse named crystal who worked at the house I was at and she legitimately made fun of me for how many relapses I’ve had in the past and made me feel embarrassed and like a waste of resources. South Coast has saved my life and my marriage! The staff is amazing from the very beginning. Everyone treats the clients with respect and goes above and beyond to truly understand clients’ needs and story. Nicole was my case manager and did an amazing job making sure all my needs were met! She is constantly working to make sure all of her clients get the tools they need to successfully get sober. Melissa was my therapist and was also amazing.
