horrible service every time wind blows power is out and we live at Tappan lake but during summer they cleared lines supposedly great how bout upgrading the lines as well smh rather have aep 1 star wont let me choose 0 otherwise it be less than zero
SPPd got my relatives back online faster than nppd. the response time is impressive. March 2025 was bad for storm. i hope sppd and nppd invest in tesla storage backups for small towns.

As a customer of SCPPD for over forty years I have never been unhappy with their service, and their response to outages over those years have always been quick and professionally handled. All of the lineman I have had contact with have been efficient and courteous no matter what the weather conditions were for the time of night they had to come out.
SPPD is ripping people off, on their electric bills at this point. When they rate hike people by nearly .50 cents PER kw/h OVER the period of 1 year with the excuse of "its for this or that" i no longer buy it. INCLUDING scamming people during the summer months on A/C sure-charge rates. I run warehouses in their district and its always the same excuse of hiking rates up for no actual legit reason.Their lines are ALWAYS popping breakers and its not even 97% reliable of the time during storms.
