I have been a customer of South Central Power Co. (SCP) for more than 30 years. In 2009 I worked with them to install electricity at a new house that I had built near Bremen, Ohio. Later, I had them install a security system, and in 2021, I worked with them extensively to install solar panels on my barn. In each case, I found them friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I have had great service and response time from South Central. They are always friendly and willing to help over the phone!
Been without power for days! Restored power to all of our neighbors and left our line laying in the yard. No one answers. Can’t get ahold of anyone no updates. Children in the home! No help at all this is ridiculous. We had to repair our damaged line from the house ourselves. They left our line down and never came back. We are at wits end with these people. Someone help!
Way too many power outages I’ve never experienced this before with AEP This company is absolutely trash , how many power outages, no seriously ? You guys are charging customers one arm and one leg for your horrible service just for us to seat in the dark for hours everytimey it’s raining hard make no sense to me You guys should close that trashy place and let AEP take over , at this point we need to report this to the BBB Trash , trash
We lived in lancaster for 4 years and had only 1 power outage on our street with aep. We moved to Amanda 3 months ago and we have had power outages multiple times each month so far with south central. And we're paying more. 😒🙄 that 1.9 stars makes a little more sense now.
