I gave this utility company 1 star because there is no option to give 0 stars. It’s just me and my husband living in our home, but he works away from home Monday to Friday. I only cook on Saturdays and Sundays. We don’t use much electricity, so I was shocked to receive a bill for $698. When I contacted the company, they told me that this was how much we used. We live in Violet Township (Pickerington area) and could not be more pleased with the excellent service we were recently given by South Central Power of Lancaster, Ohio. Our electric service developed problems from out of nowhere at the beginning of cold and snow season recently. My wife and I were unaware as we were visiting out of town over the holidays. South Central became aware of the problem because of their equipment that tells them when there is a problem somewhere. Being away we had no idea that there was a problem.... read more
Worst electric company out there? Think they just make up numbers and send people real high bills hope our community? Can find away to get AEP out here to service our area because we’re tired of it they need to be investigated

I would give 0 stars if I could. Still in shock by how disgusted I am with this company! Unfortunately in this area south central is my only choice for electric. We live on a road (Thompson Ridge Rd, Laurelville) that loses electric more than any other in our county, even on a sunny day! I received a disconnect notice and completely forgot about it. My Bill for 2 months was around $700. When I called to pay I was charged $1,400! Since after hours I had to call back the next day to speak with someone. What I was told is this ... read more
