If you like to always go without power this is the company to go with power goes out without no storms or anything and ruins your electric devices but flickering on and off and the company won’t pay to replace any of it all I learned from this is I will never buy a house or live at a place running from this electric company they should be shut down or sued for how they do there costumers would give 0 stars if possible

So as of 5 hrs ago (7-3-25) I respectfully will change my review to 4’s. Honestly the past 2yrs we’ve had South Central Power Co. they’ve been willing to work with us! Edit… due to the fact that once again electric is out, once again their “estimated time” to restore has come and gone! 97 people on Thompson ridge… this is a every few months event, rain or shine! Same quarter of a mile is where it always goes out … yet here we are 4 hours later and they still haven’t figured it out! This has happened for the last decade at least and they still do nothing about all of the limbs hanging over the lines. I want to give a BIG SHOUT-OUT to those who worked on getting our electric back ON in the holler of Chillicothe. We arrived at our cabin Saturday with three small children, one who was on milk. We were able to put the milk in the water running off the hills from the storm to keep it cold. They arrived at the time they said they would, it took all day to fix the situation, trees were down and one of the electric poles snapped in half at the top of the hill.
