****UPDATE **** Since my review on Google, the company did personally reach out and try to work with me on my situation. They definitely did a way better job at caring about personal situations. I cant for the life of me remember the lady's name that called me, but she definitely helped me and made me feel more valued as a customer. Good job! Like many others here, only gave 1 star because 0 isn't an option. We had a death in the family, funeral costs are expensive, im a single dad of 2 kids and work full time. Im barely getting by with the current economy and I make over 30 dollars an hour. After funeral costs my savings were hit and I was back to paycheck to paycheck. I got ONE month behind. They shut off my electricity. I paid it the same day, after they charged 100 dollars for disconnecting and reconnecting, to push buttons remotely btw. Not like they had to ... read more
Terrible service, haven’t seen any trucks in 12 hours on any roads trying to fix outages
If you like to always go without power this is the company to go with power goes out without no storms or anything and ruins your electric devices but flickering on and off and the company won’t pay to replace any of it all I learned from this is I will never buy a house or live at a place running from this electric company they should be shut down or sued for how they do there costumers would give 0 stars if possible
So as of 5 hrs ago (7-3-25) I respectfully will change my review to 4’s. Honestly the past 2yrs we’ve had South Central Power Co. they’ve been willing to work with us!
