Live on Stonewall cemetery Rd in Lancaster. Power company came out to cut tree branches away from power lines on Friday the 10th. Saturday morning they were out cleaning up the brush and limbs. My husband went out to thank them. They were very professional. Great team and very well done.
Just had someone come out and mess with my meter in a truck labeled South Central Power Co. When my power flickered I came out and saw him and he asked "you having issues?" I said "not until a second ago when the power flickered". He said he got a call. I asked for the name. Turned out, my neighbor called and he was working on the wrong meter. Confirm. Go to the door and let the client know you are there for maintenance. This is how to avoid wasting your time.
They are charging outrageous prices for electric. Because the data centers and all the power they have to have to supply them tax free. And want to charge us and punish us instead of making it easy and affordable. Billionaire company's are to greedy and living the high life. If I could get negative stars. I would. I have a SCREENSHOT of my bill that was due a day AFTER they disconnected me. After the disconnect, THEY ADD RANDOM FEES AND DEPOSITS TO TURN IT ON. A $240 bill turned into a $640 bill because they added on a “deposit and reconnect fee”. Every person I spoke with was uncooperative and came up with a different amount.
