Thank you to RWA for offering a superb series of "in forest" trails in the greater New Haven area. They are safely maintained and offer a range of degree of difficulty for everyone. At the same time it would be helpful to allow leashed dogs on at least some of the trails, with the same requirements as recreational property of the State of CT (Hammonasset et al) and individual town "Land Trust" property.

Discolored water for the second time in a few days, wouldn't flush from the system. Called to report it and was told it's simply because "it's hot today" and there's nothing they can do about it. I'm sorry, but developed countries should not just have incurable brown water just because of a heat wave. Reporting is an enormous hassle and took ages longer than it should have. Also, the water always tastes AWFUL, and has tasted awful everywhere in this region that I've lived (all within the RWA's service area). Terrible.

Had a sewage smell in the house. I called a plumber. His conclusion was that he needs to snake water pipe through sewer drain; i called RWA to see if it was covered through the pipeline insurance…i got a answering service, informed them that the plumber needed an answer; i was told someone would get right back to me.. 45 min later the plumber asked whether i wanted it done or not. I gad no choice but to tell him to go ahead. I called RWA back when he was done and they told me sorry it would have been covered but ee have 24 h... read more

I had a water main valve leak and I contacted them about coming out to shut water off before the plumber came. A nice woman called us back to let us know we were insured for coverage for this valve. We were so appreciative, we almost paid $600 for the emergency plumber to come out.
