My husband saw Dr. Staniloff for a $450 consultation for a root canal. When attempting to perform the root canal through a crowned tooth, Dr. Staniloff broke the crown off and broke what was remaining of tooth. The tooth now cannot be crowned so the root canal was a complete waste of time. He proceeded to charge over $2000 for the root canal on a tooth that will be pulled. Do not recommend. Out $2500 with zero consideration from the dentist.
This was my wife's second experience with root canal in Canada. The first was 20+ years ago, and it was not a good one. So she was a little apprehensive going into this new Endodontics office. This experience was very good. We started with the $400 xrays, but they were well explained beforehand. Her usual dentist xrays were not enough. We then booked the root canal, the very next day.
