Was referred to Southeast Endodontist for Root Canal. The place looked very expensive, and so I found out. I ask if this procedure was covered under the Government Dental Plan? Was told *we don't do direct billing. You pay us and send them the invoice paid*. Last Friday night I started having severe tooth pain. Because it was the weekend and my regular dentist was closed, I decided to go to an emergency dentist who determined that one of my root canals was likely causing the problem. He referred me to South Calgary Endodontic for an assessment. I phoned Monday morning (pretty much the moment they opened because by then I was in excruciating pain and my face was swollen) and I was so grateful to find out that they were able to get me assessed that same afternoon. It was awful experience going there. They were all about the money. They wont even listen to my concern. They want to make money from X-ray again, and exam and they are telling me all the different ways to get money. And reception staff was not as friendly, not polite. Just a worse endodontics office I have been to in my life. Nothing but all ABOUT THE MONEY.
