Not my idea of a pleasent experiance. I have to compare my interaction with other radiology services. I will drive 2 hours for the service previously had at another place. Please dont let this put you off, if you have the money, head along and make your own decision.
I have experienced wonderful attentive care from two of the ultrasound operators but no point having a lovely experience with no results! My specialist for ENT now makes me travel to Brisbane for ultra sounds because they are tired of not receiving reorts, lost, or poorly reported information hat comes in way too late...that is not helping my health care. In addition my GP has had to chase up a separate health issue after a month a report and when it it was located it had no clear information in it so she had to call them to... read more
Staff are very professional and do their best to help. Loses a star because management have decided that scans are to be sent to Brisbane which means that you’re waiting 1-2 weeks for a report. The sensible option would be to align with the hospital to produce more timely reports, especially for urgent scans.
I hate making bad reviews, but I felt really taken aback after a recent call. I was so shocked by how abrupt the lady was off the bat. The conversation turned unnecessarily hostile almost immediately, and it honestly threw me off for the rest of the day. I understand things can get stressful, but I didn’t expect that kind of aggressiveness literally 30 seconds into our phone call. It was very unprofessional.
I'll rarely post a negative review, but I really want to try and divert anyone from SBR to avoid the experience we had. My son was sent to South Burnett Radiology from the EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT for an urgent scan. We were specifically told that SBR was the only group available who could get the scan done and results would be sent back to the ED within 24 hours.
