Bad experience as day case with overall care before and after procedure. Bad communication and no communication after about what was done in operation or any relevant exercises to do, didn't even know what stitches or dressings I had, no follow up or aftercare at all. Felt rushed out after surgery, from recovery room to being basically moved out was approx 75 mins. My husband had to come in on the woman's ward to help me dress as I was still extremely unsteady on my feet. Luckily I have had similar operations so I have an id... read more

Great experience from start to finish.
i spent around 13 weeks in SBCH several years ago, and for someone who hates hospitals it was a fabulous experience, even the food was edible.
