dont go for food The food is way overpriced. My soup bowl was only 1/2 inch deep.My husband took 3 bites of his $6 hot dog and said it was no good.Buy chocolate.It's worth the money.'Eat elsewhere. Lots of options nearby.
Great sandwiches If you go here, you have to try the hot ham and cheese sandwich--it's delicious! They also have great coffee, and wonderful desserts. Of course, you have to try the chocolates, too!
Chocolate Cafe This cafe is directly ran by the South Bend Chocolate Factory. The prices are a little steep for all of the items on the menu, but the food is really good. Wonderful treat! The Chocaolate Cafe is a wonderful place to stop for a treat. They have absolutely amazing cheesecakes, excellent coffee and the best hot chocolate in the area. They've exapnded the cafe to enclude a cozy seating area with fireplace and now serve some tasty sandwiches also. It does, of course, get absolutely pack on the weekends that Notre Dame has home games, but at any other time, it is a favorite for coffee and dessert.
