Dinner was exquisite! Each dish unique and flavorful. Textures, tastes and presentation were perfect. Our sever, Cully, part owner, was low key, welcoming and totally charming. The salads were fresh and outside the unique. Our duck dish was crisp and delicate, pasta was light and delicate. The crème brute was heavenly, chocolate flourless cake , mystical and the pear tart spiced to perfection. This place is not to be missed . I just hope not too many people find out about it.
Another great meal at South Bend Bistro! The harvest salad was fresh and full of flavor, and the swordfish was perfectly cooked—simple, high-quality, and delicious.
We came back to South Bend Bistro and had another fantastic meal. The beet salad was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the crab cakes were absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, tender and full of flavor inside. David, the bartender, was great—super friendly and made the experience even better. The hostess was also really nice, and honestly the entire staff is just incredibly kind and welcoming. Such a great spot—we’ll definitely be back!
We had such a great experience at South Bend Bistro that we ended up going twice in the same week—once on Tuesday and again today! The scallops were absolutely cooked to perfection both times—easily one of the standout dishes. Everything we tried reflected really high-quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Absolutely LOVED this place. We ended up making a last minute reservation here after we had previous dinner plans fall through, and this place was top-notch! The drinks, the appetizers, the entrees and dessert…everything was excellent! We all ordered a little of everything and shared family-style between 6 people.
