Had our kitchen sink back up Sunday night. Called South Bay Plumbing early Monday morning. Matthew showed up about 8 am and had the sink cleared about an hour later. Matt was extremely neat and courteous. He brought up a large moving blanket to protect the kitchen floor, a bucket large enough to put the P- trap in (without spilling the water in it). I recently hired Jay the plumber to fix a leak in my bathroom, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Despite promising prompt service, Jay arrived hours later than scheduled without any explanation or apology. Furthermore, his workmanship left much to be desired. The repair he conducted seemed rushed and incomplete, as the leak reappeared shortly after he left. I can't say enough about this company. Jay took the time to return my call after hours and didn't want to leave me hanging. He sent two of his crew out the next day to check everything out to see if I had a leak ( from a unusually high water bill ) Matthew explained everything in thorough detail and was very professional. Their charge was fair and I didn't feel like I was gouged like so many other experiences from other plumbers. I highly recommend this co. and will let all of my friends and neighbors know about them.
