One star because they are closing. Sad times for the NJ brewery scene. But I have to say I’m not surprised. Ashton in Middlesex closed and they were on a main roadway while So 40 was in the bowels of Raritan Center, not a place you would just happen to come upon on, had to know about them to make the trip. I haven’t been over in a while just for that reason, I would hate to go now that they are closing as it’s too little too late. Best wishes on any future endeavor.
EDISON: located within the Raritan Center complex is an awesome brewery called South 40 Brewing Co. and they sure do love their doggy visitors. Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside the tap room and outdoor seating, and they are becoming famous for hosting doggy birthday parties! Get featured on their “Top Dogs of South 40” wall and be part of a great group of pups. Oh, we almost forgot to talk about the beer.
