If you're looking for a garage that knows theirs stuff, then S 16th St Garage is it. Very knowledgeable & great staff. In Dec. I went to 2 different garages (multiple times), to see what was wrong with my car - after throwing $1000 +, neither garage was able to fix the issue. Called up S. 16th St. & scheduled an appt. They diagnosed & fixed this "mystery" issue in a day. I'll no longer deal with any other garage but them.
I have been looking for a reliable garage for regular maintenance and inspections for our two vehicles for years and I am so glad to have found these folks. Genuinely kind people, happy to see you and talk to you. The shop dog is a sweetheart. Beyond that, they are prompt, clear about what needs done, and have honest and fair pricing. You can trust your vehicle is in good hands here. Definitely have a lifelong customer with our family and I will happily recommend south 16th garage to anyone looking for a quality experience.
We had an emergency that happened last minute right before heading out of the country. South 16th Street Garage was able to fit us in last minute and save the day so we had safe travels on our way back home. Amazing service.
Ive been coming here for a long time (18+ years). Its the only garage where the bill doesn't shock me. You won't find a more honest shop than this place. The owner is extremely knowledgeable, the guy I dealt with on the phone and the mechanics are great. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is worried that Dave will one day retire - we can only hope he's addicted to the aggravation and continues to work on our cars!
I want to thank Dave for taking time after close to recheck an issue on a car I had work done on. It was no mistake to them at all. He opened the garage and very kindly fixed the issue. We had great conversation on his trip to Ohio for a vintage motorcycle race gathering, which is super cool! Definitely recommend for an honest kind person. You made my day!
