All you can eat RICE The way they make the "all you can eat" business model work is by stuffing the nigiri with so much rice to make you full that you won't eat as many pieces as you otherwise would. The rice to fish ratio is ridiculous, it's easily 3X the normal amount of rice at any other omakase place. The fish is okay quality, a touch better than the average neighborhood sushi place but not by much.
The omakase experience was incredible, we had 14 courses and then 3 rounds of AYCE, one round for tuna, one for fatty tuna and the last one for wagyu beef. You can only order once per round, and if you don’t eat a piece, it will cost you 10$. Drinks like Sake and teas are included, these were so good too. Should definitely be in the Michelin Guide ⭐️
The food, the drinks, and sushi chef David were all 5 stars! The hosts were also super great and attentive. The space is super intimate, but we don’t mind being close to other guests. Just be prepared. Everyone was also super nice to explain how the Omakase and AYCE works. Just gotta say again that Chef David was the star of the course!
Went to celebrate a birthday but was met with a lot of disappointment. The rice was very sour, soggy and salty, other patrons at the table complained of the same issue. The waitresses were quite rude from the get go. It's an AYCE buffet, but asking for more than 1 miso soup was brushed off as a huge ask. After we finished our third round of ordering, we were then immediately asked to pay, without dessert or anything offered.
