It's been awhile since ive been there but I've purchased some speakers previously. Gary is very knowledgeable and honest to deal with . I need a new receiver and hope to get in there soon to see what he has.
I just purchased a vacuum tube amplifier from Sounds Good to Me at Trader's Village. From my friend Gary Reiser. This is the first time in over thirty years I have had a vacuum tube amplifier. After purchasing it I did a little investigating and found out that this is actually a Class A vacuum tube amplifier. I have it connected to a pair of 8-in two way Mirage bookshelf speakers. It sounds delightful. Current plans are to integrate a Blu-ray player, a cassette deck, and my network streamer from Songbird.
Loved this place. You can tell every piece of equipment was taken care of and cleaned thoroughly. They let you test whatever it is you're buying so you know it works. Gary gave me advice and tips since I was buying a new set of speakers for a turntable and an amp, incredibly helpful and friendly. If you're in the market for audio equipment of all sorts (even reel-to-reel!), definitely come here.
