I had a Soundproof door installed on my glass back door - the purpose was to keep the heat from escaping thorough the glass door in the winter and to keep the heat out during the summer - which it did very well. Another benefit from the window: prior to having the window installed anytime anyone was in the back yard, or someone walked by the house the neighbor dog barked.....and barked......and barked. Back in 2009 I had Soundproof Windows measure and install windows in my master bedroom. While they do cut down on the treble of the street traffic, unfortunately the windows did not solve my noise issues. I then hired another contractor to soundproof my walls, which proved equally ineffectual.
