Do not trust Sound Ford Service! I recently took my F150 in because my AC was not blowing cold air. I received a $5000 estimate with an explanation that the compressor had grenaded inside, sending metal through the hoses, and the whole system would need to be replaced. Good thing I declined the repair. Turns out it was rodent damage to the wiring. One inch of electrical tape and I have ice cold air again! I would not trust one word from this business.
TLDR: Ford charged me for services I specifically declined, botched a routine repair 3 times, and caused additional damage to my vehicle in excess of $1500. No hyperbole, this was the worst auto repair experience of my life, bar none. I had a recall on my Ford vehicle and had to take it into the dealership. Against my better judgement, I asked them to fix a coolant leak and do my back breaks, as it was much more convenient to do everything at once, especially with their valet service. Dropped off truck last night for oil change, tire rotation and some kind of recall on the axle. Someone reached out on text this morning and let me know they got my truck so I responded but they've had truck all day and now it's 715 with no status and was told only needed it for the day. Wanted to try out Sound ford in Renton service as I live in Renton. I was a loyal AutoNation Ford Bellevue customer for years. Its just a long drive and Sound Ford in Renton is closer.
