We hired Sound Explosion for my daughter’s Sweet 16 and they were absolutely amazing! From the beginning, Eric (the owner) was great to work with—professional, responsive, and really made the planning process easy. DJ Hugh was phenomenal! We hired Sound Explosion Event Group for our wedding last week and they were phenomenal! Mike DeMaio was our DJ. He worked the crowd and knew how to read the room perfectly. I am not lying when I said we had a 2.5 hour NON STOP dance set! My family and friends were raving about how great the music was and how he was in sync with the vibes the whole night. I came to Sound Explosion with a request for bistro lighting at Houston Hall in West Village, for our wedding. I have to say, the whole team were absolutely fantastic. Mike performed as a DJ for our wedding reception and was a pleasure to work with. His easygoing nature made the process of booking, planning and executing painless and he took great efforts to go the extra mile.
